About Me:
I graduated from Temple University with certifications in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. This is my fifth year teaching at Community Park Elementary School. I taught Second Grade for two years at CP and have experience teaching Elementary aged school children prior to working at Community Park School. I have had the opportunity to hone my skills in the area of Elementary and Special Education as well as Library Media Science, which I know will be a real asset in our school library. I am currently attending Rutgers University to finish my Masters Degree in Library Information Science. I have a passion for technology and children's literature and have been studying ways to create an environment where students are excited to read, obtain information, and use new technology tools! The library is a place to discover and explore new ideas, to continuously learn and grow, solve complex problems, work collaboratively, and to utilize innovative resources. View the website and the library' s twitter (@cp_library) to see what we are up to. Also, please stop by any time to visit us!
